Microsoft 終紿釋出首個 Universal Binary 的 Remote Desktop Connection Client。這次是 2.0 的 Beta 版本，主要支援了 Remote Desktop Protocol 6.0，支援同時開啟多個連接，動態調整視窗大小，增強印表機的支援，改進使用者經驗及增加更多自定選項。目前只有英文版及只支援美國鍵盤，而試用期到 2008 年 3 月 31 日就結束。

CoRD 是一套用以取代 Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection 的軟件。由於 CoRD 是 UB 的，所以執行速度比 Microsoft 的官方版要快。另外 CoRD 還提供了更多螢幕解像度可供選擇，整合 Keychain，更可同時連接多台電腦，可開啟及儲存 Microsoft 的 RDC 設定檔。
0.4 版本改進了介面的設計，連上多台 Windows 時可以選擇以 tab 或獨立視窗運作；Server list 改以 drawer 形式顯示；支援剪貼簿的傳輸和支援自動縮放視窗大小等。同時修正了 memory leaks 問題等。

啟動比起 M$ 官方版快很多，因為 M$ 的還是 PowerPC 版啦 LOL
另外 CoRD 還提供了更多螢幕解像度可供選擇，整合 Keychain，更可同時連接多台電腦，可開啟及儲存 M$ 的 RDC 設定檔。其他功能就不能自行修改設定了，例如連結硬碟，自動執行程式…

在這邊看到，原來 MacOS 已經不用 BIOS 了…M$ 真的很落後耶…XDDD 假如說為了讓較舊的低板也可以安裝 Vista 而繼續使用 BIOS，我想也是說不通的…既然安裝 Vista 的要求已經幾乎要我們換掉整台電腦，何不索性一刀切要求我們一定要換電腦才能使用 Vista 呢? 反正那個 eyes candy 的介面不換機是享受不到的，只會痛苦…XDDD

1. Go to your BIOS, set the year to 2099.
2. Disconnect Internet (physically pull out your LAN cable if you will tongue.gif )
3. Install Vista. DO NOT enter any key while installing, and select the Ultimate edition.
4. Once vista boots up for the first time, set the year back to 2006 (from within Vista). Remember, internet should still be disconnected.
5. Reboot, and check date in BIOS to make sure its 2006.
6. Use enclosed patch
7. Unzip the patch and run the exe.
8. Click on test. It should say 4 timers stopped.
9. Click on the install button.
10. Reboot.
11. Connect Internet
12. Test by typing “slmgr -dlv” in the command prompt (in administrator mode), and note the minutes.
13. After about an hour of use, reboot and redo step 12. The minutes should remain same!
14. Enjoy!
